How To Cut Weight And Look Great!
Are you sick of looking at yourself in the mirror at “swimsuit time” and wishing you could cut weight in such a way that the pounds would magically fall away? Well, although the idea of trying to cut weight and therefore cut your body down to “swimsuit” size seems impossible, it actually can be done. It just takes a little determination, the right attitude and revamping the way you currently eat.
For instance, what do you have for breakfast?
Do you pop a calorie-laden pastry in your mouth and wash the sugary contents down with an equally calorically dense Cappuccino from Starbucks? Big mistake! You’ve already consumed most of the calories for the day—maybe 1,200 at least. Not only that, they’re empty calories with regards to nutrition. Can’t cut weight and look great on this kind of breakfast.
Instead, to cut weight, you need to choose to consume foods that aren’t as rich in calories and poor in nutrition. Choose a bran muffin, if you must have a pastry, instead. And opt for some plain java. An orange half or strawberries is also a good selection.
Then there’s lunch. What do you grab at the noon hour? Do you break out of your cubicle and spring for a salad or do you follow your taste buds to the nearest burger joint? You can’t cut weight choosing a burger and fries. If you must have a burger, eat a veggie burger instead. If that still doesn’t satisfy the palate, choose baked fish or chicken. You’ll reduce your calories and, without really trying, cut weight over time too.
Once you get home, you’re ready for a snack. Do you dip your hand in a bag of chips? More calories you don’t really need. If you must have a crunchy snack like chips, try microwaving some popcorn. It’s a healthier alternative.
Your next foray into eating now comes at supper. Don’t tell me you’re fixing fried fish and tater tots tonight! Better to go with a fresh fish filet that is broiled and grilled and a baked potato with plain yogurt instead of sour cream to cut weight.
You can see by simple substitutions you can cut weight and look great. It just takes a little bit of awareness on your part as to what you’re eating on a day-to-day basis. That way you can better facilitate what you need to do to reach your dietary goals.
Therefore, to cut weight and look great, substitute calorically dense foods with nutritionally dense fare. Place high priority on nutritionally rich foods as fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, fish and chicken. Give little credence to nutritionally deprived foods as pastries, cakes, pies, chips, soft drinks, and processed and cured meats.
A sweet tooth can be alleviated by eating such foods as berries with a drizzling of syrup or teas sweetened with a bit of honey. You can cut weight and look great. All it takes is a little “can do” power on your part and eating foods that provide sustenance without sacrificing nutrition.
